Carmen Rodríguez is a contemporary dancer and choreographer from Santander, Spain. She graduated in classical dance at the Belín Cabrillo Center, affiliated with the Conservatory Jesús de Monasterio in 2019. Her career began as a performer at the inauguration of the Centro Botín before she moved to Berlin, where she continued developing her artistic voice with the Dart Company. During that year she performed pieces of the choregraphers Maddie Hanson and Saeed Hani.

During the pandemic she took part in a dance film project choreographed by Chantal Mik and created her own duet "Tuesday at six" reflecting on mental health and based on a small scale research project. Carmen's work is rooted in contemporary dance with a multidisciplinary approach, incorporating elements of flamenco, hip-hop, and jazz. In 2022, her piece Der Schmetterlingseffekt was selected for the Raw and Polished Festival in Nuremberg.

She is currently touring Germany with guitarist Roger Tristão Adao, performing in over ten cities. Her latest solo piece, Un pie detrás de otro, which explores her migratory experience of moving to Berlin, was performed at the openstage of Sasha Waltz in 2025. In addition to performing, Carmen teaches contemporary dance, ballet and improvisation
